How to mint a token

After having successfully announced a token users can issue assets directly on Bitcoin.

To do this using LrcSwap, users need:

1. An LrcWallet

2. A finalized announcement transaction

3. Around 10k Sats (0.0001 BTC, ~$6.9 USD as of May 26). This may fluctuate with fees.

After having acquired BTC in the LrcWallet and waiting for your announcement transaction to finalize, you can issue assets using lrcswap.xyz/mint.

Connect your wallet

1. Fill in all the required information (Recipient & Amount)

   By default, the recipient is you. It's important to note that LRC-20 tokens can only be sent and received to P2TR addresses. In the wallet, this can be found by clicking 'Receive' and copying the 'LRC-20 Address'.

1. Click on verify and issue to verify the info

It's important to note never to issue more than the max supply and always wait for issuance transactions to complete before issuing more tokens

1. Sign the TX in the wallet

1. Congrats! You've succesfully issued your token natively on Bitcoin. Once the transaction finalizes, you'll be able to see it in your wallet and transfer it.
